Purpose of the guideline: Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common and painful symptoms of cancer patients, which seriously affects their quality of life. In recent years, CRF has gradually attracted attention, but on the one hand, its mechanism is still not clearly elucidated, and western medical treatment is limited and ineffective. On the other hand, TCM has achieved good efficacy in the clinical practice of treating CRF, but the practice of TCM in treating CRF has not yet formed a reliable recommendation due to the lack of evidence-based basis. For this reason, the expert consensus of the WCCU Palliative Care Research Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine (WCCU) has been developed by the WCCU Palliative Care Research Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine (WCCU) to screen and collect domestic and international literature, evaluate it using the internationally recognized evidence level determination standard GRADE, and exchange and discuss with experts in Chinese medical oncology and acupuncture to reach this consensus. This consensus was developed to provide clinicians with practical and effective TCM treatments for CRF; to promote TCM as one of the conventional treatments for CRF, to enhance the popularity of TCM in CRF clinical practice; and to serve as an important material for patient education and to increase patient acceptance and recognition of TCM as a treatment for CRF.
