Purpose of the guideline: Wound healing is a complex pathophysiological process, among which the healing of chronic and refractory wounds is the most difficult, which is usually caused by a series of severe wounds and underlying diseases, affected by various factors into the pathological healing process, and is difficult to heal applying conventional treatment. Although this kind of wound is not fatal, due to the long course of disease, complications and high cost, treatment effect and social economic development are seriously affected. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of basic research on chronic refractory wounds at home and abroad, mechanism and treatment of wound healing have gradually surfaced, and relevant functional wound dressings have emerged. However, there is no consensus on the clinical evaluation of functional wound dressings up to now. To this end, we organized domestic experts in relevant fields to co-write this consensus, aiming to provide guiding recommendations for the clinical evaluation of functional wound dressings.
