Purpose of the guideline: Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders pose a grave threat to maternal life due to severe hemorrhage and the heightened risk of peripartum hysterectomy. Accurate diagnosis of PAS during pregnancy can significantly improve outcomes. Currently, ultrasound serves as the main diagnostic method for PAS. This expert consensus aims to provide guidance based on current evidence-based medicine on key issues related to ultrasound diagnosis of PAS, to promote the standardized and effective application of ultrasound in PAS diagnosis.
