Purpose of the guideline: With the abundance and advancement of tumor therapies, the survival of patients with solid tumors has been prolonged and is accompanied by an elevated risk of lung infections. The occurrence and improper management of lung infections will affect therapy against tumor and patients' quality of life and survival. The prevention, diagnosis and treatment of lung infections in patients with solid tumors have characteristics different from those of the general population. The purpose of this consensus is to sort out the latest evidence in this field and provide recommendations to standardize the management of pulmonary infections in patients with solid tumors.
