Guidelines users: This guideline will be widely used by healthcare providers who are involved in the assessment, monitoring, management of neonatal pain and education of newborns’ family caregivers in general hospitals, women and children health centers, or children’s hospitals.
Evidence classification method: The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) system will be adopted by the systematic review group to rate the quality of the body of evidence according to five downgrade factors and three upgrade factors.
