The reporting checklist for public versions of guidelines: RIGHT-PVG

In January 2021Xiaoqin Wang published an article in Implementation Science entitled “The reporting checklist for public versions of guidelines: RIGHT-PVG”.Public or patient versions of guidelines (PVGs) are derivative documents that “translate”recommendations and their rationale from clinical guidelines for health professionals into a more easily understandable and usable format for patients and the public. The Reporting Tool for Practice Guidelines in Health Care (RIGHT) for PVG reporting checklist can help to improve the transparency, consistency, and usability of their guidelines, which may ultimately lead to better uptake of clinical guidelines, improved shared decision-making between patients and clinicians, and improved patient health outcomes.
