Evidence classification method: We will use the GRADE system to rate the evidence. The evidence will be downgraded according to the following five criteria (risk of bias, inconsistency, indirectness, imprecision, and publication bias) or upgraded according to the following three criteria (large magnitude of the effect, dose-response, confounders likely minimize the effect). The final certainty of evidence will be graded as either high, moderate, low, or very low.

Purpose of the guideline: Since the outbreak of COVID-19, it has become a life-threatening disease that poses a significant challenge to public health and health care systems worldwide. To ensure the timeliness and reliability of the guideline recommendations, the Working Group on Rapid advice guidelines for the management of children with COVID-19 initiated a process to update the guideline to provide practical guidance for the management of COVID-19 in children and adolescents in the post-epidemic era.
