Purpose of the guideline: The clinical manifestations of Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD) in children vary greatly, and the laboratory tests lack specificity. KFD is easy to be misdiagnosed in the early stage. Until now, there are no standardized consensus or guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of KFD. Therefore, we will use the method of evidence-based guideline to develop the "Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease," aiming to provide more effective guidance to pediatric rheumatologists and standardize the diagnosis, and standardized management of KFD in China, thereby improving its long-term prognosis.
