Purpose of the guideline: |
Prostate cancer is a common malignant tumor in men all over the world. Radical prostatectomy (RP) is one of the main surgical measures for the treatment of prostate cancer, which can better achieve radical treatment of the primary lesion or tumor reduction. According to the different conditions of patients, the operation includes the resection of prostate and seminal vesicle, pelvic lymph node dissection and bladder neck urethral reconstruction, and the postoperative complications of patients will be different. Common complications include postoperative sexual dysfunction, postoperative urinary incontinence, postoperative lymphatic fistula, etc., and affect the quality of life of patients to varying degrees. There are mature consensus articles in foreign countries for corresponding guidance, but there is still a lack of standardized integrated rehabilitation plans for post-RP patients in China, so that some patients can not get standard postoperative rehabilitation or lose the best time for rehabilitation, resulting in long-term effects on quality of life and psychology.
In order to standardize the integrated rehabilitation plan for patients after RP surgery, provide rehabilitation advice for different patients, improve the efficiency of postoperative rehabilitation, and reduce the impact of RP surgery on patients' short-term or long-term quality of life, the Professional Committee of Integrated Rehabilitation of urogenital Tumors of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association convened relevant experts to explore and discuss the integrated rehabilitation plan for patients after RP surgery through literature review. A set of standardized guidelines for RP perioperative integrated rehabilitation was established. |
