| Purpose of the guideline: | Since the publication of the "Chinese guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis (2018)", new progress has been made in the diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis evaluation, and other aspects of chronic sinusitis (CRS) both domestically and internationally, and more clinical evidence-based medical data has emerged. In order to adapt to the constantly changing clinical development needs and better apply the latest research progress to guide clinical practice, the Subspecialty Group of Rhinology, Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, together with the Subspecialty Group of Rhinology, Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Chinese Medical Association, plans to launch a new round of CRS guideline revision work, providing more scientific and standardized diagnosis and treatment reference opinions for clinical doctors in China regarding CRS. |
