Purpose of the guideline: Intra-abdominal Hypertension (IAH) and acute compartment syndrome (ACS), with multiple etiologies, were commonly seen in critically ill patients in the Emergency settings. Monitoring and treatment of IAH/ACS was easily negalected by emergency physicians and leading to severe consequences. This concensus was aimed to provide instructions for intra-abdominal pressure monitoring and IAH/ACS diagnosis and treatment for emergency physicians and nurses.
